A boxed Webley Senior .22 Air Pistol with its original box, additional .177 Barrel and incredibly rare Webley glass oil bottle.
This pistol was manufactured by Webley & Scott in Birmingham between 1946 and 1958.
It is in pristine original condition and looks to have little if any use the blueing is in excellent order with no discernible marks and is a deep glossy black colour. The grips likewise are in excellent condition with no damage.
It cocks and fires with no issues.
The pistol comes with its original cardboard box which has repairs to the lid obviously some time ago as the paper repair tape is branded with the Webley Logo (possibly repaired in the factory)
Also included is an as new .177 Calibre spare Webley Senior barrel, an unused spring.and a Webley Parts Price list.
Included and likely with the pistol from new is an incredibly rare original screw top Glass Webley Oil bottle unopened and marked No 2 oil (for use with Webley Senior and Mark II Air rifles)
This was likely made in 1946 just after the Second World war or possibly during the war when there was shortage of steel. This particular version has the screw top and it would appear only one other like this has ever been seen !
These Oil bottles are described in a book relating to Webley Air Rifles as a collectors dream.
To find a pistol in this condition with the associate accessories is indeed very rare we’ve not seen one before.
