A Webley ‘Senior’ .177 Calibre Air Pistol complete with a very good reproduction ‘Rexine’ Post War Pistol Case, an additional .22 Calibre barrel, an opened tin of 500 x .177 ‘Webley’ Special Pellets, an opened tin of 500 x .22 ‘Webley’ special pellets, a ‘Webley Marksman’ badge, Cleaning brush, Reproduction Webley Oil can, Webley Senior spring medallion tag and a modern pin badge.
The pistol is marked ‘Birmingham 4’ which denotes its manufacture in Birmingham was between 1946 and 1958. It is in very good original condition throughout with only the odd mark to the blued finish which is generally a deep glossy black. The brown plastic grips are undamaged. The pistol cocks and fires with no issues.
A really good example and scarcer than the more commonplace .22 Calibre it does come with an additional and hard to find genuine spare .22 Calibre barrel.
The case supplied with the pistol is very well made modern reproduction of the later, and harder to find, ‘Rexine’ case originally supplied for Post War ‘Webley’ Air Pistols. Original cases are very difficult to obtain and highly desirble by Webley collectors this one has been made to the specification of the genuine article and really compliments the pistol and accessories.
The pellet tins are genuine Post War examples which are opened and contain approx half of their original contents
The ‘Marksman’ badge’ supplied was obtainable from Webley & Scott by sending a number of paper vouchers from inside Webley Pellet Tins and along with a small fee the badge was then posted out to the recipient.
A very good example of one of Webley’s most iconic Air Pistols with some great accessories.
