A rare cased Walther LP 53 .177 Calibre Air Pistol.
The serial number is 032472 which dates this particular pistols manufacture to circa 1958
It is in excellent original condition with little wear to the finish and is complete with its original front and rear sights and grips.
The pistol cocks and discharges with no issues.
It comes with its rare and original ‘Walther’ presentation case with scarce red velvet and silk lining.
The case in in very good order with little wear to the interior and only minor wear to the corners.
It contains 2 rear sight elements, 2 foresight beads, wooden cocking aid, cleaning rod and a tin of Bimoco .177 pellets..
Of course this pistol has its place in cinematic history featuring with James Bond (Sean Connery) in the advertising campaign for the film ‘From Russia with Love’.
A good example of this classic collectable German manufactured Air Pistol.
