An extremely rare Venom Arms Company ‘Viper’ – Sharp ‘Innova II’ – .22 Calibre Multi Stroke Pneumatic Air Rifle.
This is a customised version of the Sharp Innova which was converted by the Venom Arms Company,Gun Barrel Works Industrial Estate, Cradley Heath, Birmingham, England when they were based there from 1984 to 1998. The original, and only previous, owner bought it new from Ivan Hancock, who was one of the founders of the Venom Arms, in the early 1990’s.These customised Sharp Innova rifles were made in very small numbers some in a ‘Bullpup’ style and some with this style of stock. They are very scarce now and are rarely encountered.
The rifle features a unique thumb hole walnut checkered stock with a ‘Viking’ rubber butt pad. The internals were serviced by the Venom Arms company. This particular rifle also features a Venom Arms moderator. It is in excellent original condition the stock and fore end in particular are in good order with no marks of consequence. The action is in excellent condition too. There are a couple of chips to the painted moderator but otherwise its in good order. It pumps cocks and fires with no issues. It is fitted with a contemporary Nikko Stirling Rifle Scope.
This is is a fantastic example of one of Venoms Arms lesser known products and is sure to appeal to collectors of products made by this iconic gun manufacturing company.
