A boxed ‘Comet’ Air Rifle Kit containing a Milbro/Diana Model 25 .177 Calibre Air Rifle and a Diana 3X Rifle Scope.
This rifle was manufactured by Milbro in Scotland from the early 1960’s until late 1963 when the G25 rifle replaced this model so had quite a short production run.
The ‘Comet’ Air rifle kit originally featured a plastic 2x scope later this was replaced by a better quality 3x scope as this does and is as shown on the box lid.
This is a very good example of this youths Air Rifle and hard to find in this condition as many were not particularly well looked after.
The barrel and action is blued and in good overall condition with few marks to the finish.
The beech stock is in good condition with no splits or cracks with only a few minor marks to the finish the butt clearly shows the manufacturing date of October 1963 with the ‘R’ denoting ‘Rifled’.
It is complete with its original open sights and complimented with a Diana 3X telescopic sight.
It cocks and fires with no issues.
There is a half empty box of Milbro Caledonian pellets within.
The box lid is worn and has been repaired as is the base however it is all complete.
It cocks and fires with no issues.
A really good example of this of this youths rifle and sure to bring back memories to many.
Air guns and Air Rifles manufactured after 1939 are restricted by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as regards sale and delivery and as such the transaction must be on a face to face basis.
