A boxed BSA Meteor Mark 1 .22 calibre Air rifle.
This is ‘T’ Series model (first series) which was manufactured by BSA in Birmingham between 1959 and 1962.
It is in good original condition.
The blueing on the barrel and action is in very good order with only a few marks to the blued finish.
The ‘BSA Meteor’ logo is ‘electro’ etched on this model rather than the more common stamped examples and is clear and legible
The original open sights are fitted and fully functional.
The stock is also in very good condition it has marks consistent with use but no splits or cracks.
It cocks and fires with no issues.
It comes with its hard to find original cardboard packaging with the end flap denoting the serial number matching the rifle.
Included is a period BSA Rifle scope, original early white painted BSA branded target holder (with target), advertising leaflet for the BSA Meteor Air Rifle and an opened tin of BSA Pylarm .22 calibre pellets.
A very good example of this iconic BSA Air rifle and great that it comes with its original packaging.
Air guns and Air Rifles manufactured after 1939 are restricted by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as regards sale and delivery and as such the transaction must be on a face to face basis.
They can be posted but ONLY to another Registered Firearms dealer.
