A cased Airmatch ‘Model 600’ .177 Calibre SSP Air Pistol. Made in Milan, Italy in the 1980’s
This is a Single Stroke Pneumatic pistol with a dry fire capability. It is cocked by opening the side lever fully and loaded by inserting a pellet into the breech. The side lever is then closed the pistol is then fully cocked and ready to by fired in the conventional manner. There is a small lever to the left of the breech which can be moved to facilitate the dry fire mode or to enable the pistol to be cocked and the air compressed. It features anatomical right handed grips and adjustable rear sights.
This particular pistol is in very good condition showing little signs of wear to the finish or wooden grips. It cocks and fires with no issues.
It comes with its original case and included the sight extension adaptor which fits where the front sight is located and can be used to obtain a better sight picture. There are numerous extra rear sight and foresight elements with this pistol and extra seals if required. It also comes with its instruction booklet and guarantee card showing it was originally retailed by Framar Shooting World,Blackburn, Lancashire.
These were the one of first of the Single Stroke Pneumatic Pistols to be manufactured and marketed in the 1980’s and are now rare especially as this one is with its case and accessories. A great collectable example.
Air guns and Air Rifles manufactured after 1939 are restricted by the Violent Crime Reduction Act as regards sale and delivery and as such the transaction must be on a face to face basis.
