A very rare and boxed A.G Parker ‘Parker Patent Precision Air Pistol’ in .177 Calibre.
Made in Birmingham circa 1921 by A.G Parker Company Ltd.
This particular models serial number is 233 of a very low production run of only few hundred.
This pistol is in very good original condition with the etched patents clearly visible.
Marked on the left side ‘Hale & Harris Patent No 13011 A.G Parker& Co Limited Birmingham England’
To the right side marked ‘the Parker, patent Air Pistol, precision. No 1 bore .177 calibre barrel’
The blueing is original with thinning on the barrel, cylinder and more exposed parks of the pistol but it retains a high proportion of its finish.
The wooden grips are complete.
The serial number 233 is stamped onto various components.
The crank mechanism is functional and the pistol fires without issue.
This pistol was previously sold by us in 2020 and repurchased by us recently. The original cardboard box did have some issues with the lid in particular the left side which had the flap missing when we sold it. The previous owner has refurbished the box to a high standard repairing and reinforcing so it should last another lifetime. The inner base has also been felt lined. We have attached photos of the boxes previous condition when we sold it for comparison as to how it is now.
Inside is an opened but full box of ‘Improved Bulldog No1 Bore’ Pellets in themselves a rare collectable item.
A good example of this very scarce British made Air Pistol now well over 100 years old.
